Thanksgiving 2020 will be different in some ways but the same in a lot of ways. We will still be thankful in our hearts for the blessings we have received this year right?
I was sitting at work listening to my office team talk about Thanksgiving and Christmas and how we could share that with each other.
My friend and coworker brought up a great idea! She said "lets do Thankfuls!"
In my mind I was wondering what she meant? She explained that we could share what we are thankful for and ask our patients to do the same. We would share these via social media. This was an exceptional idea and its now my new favorite noun!
What is your Thankful? What will you be thankful for as you share your Thanksgiving dinner with your family and friends this year. This will be a new tradition at my house, well maybe not new but it will have a great new name!
While we enjoy our dinner and toast to a new and better year, lets share our THANKFULS!
My friends and family will start here. I hope this brings a little warmth to your hearts.

I've made new friends that have brought so much love and light into my life. I'm thankful for visits with my mom, coffee with my dad, projects with my step-dad, and outings with my step-mom. I'm thankful for the many recent visits to Utah to see my and my husbands family. And finally, and especially right now, I'm thankful to access to excellent mental health care. I honestly believe it's why I'm here and able to have all the wonderful things I have to be thankful for. Tiffany (New Braunfels, TX)
* What I am thankful for. First of all I am thankful for our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, Who allowed himself to be crucified on the cross for my sins. I'm thankful every morning I wake up. I'm thankful for my health. I am thankful for a loving wife, Sandy Maycock, who cares for me, puts up with me, and takes care of all the things that need to be taken care of at home when I can't be there to do it. I could go on forever on the many things she does for me and for our family. I'm thankful for a large family, my wonderful children and their families, my soon-to-be 15 grandchildren since we're 14 right now with one in the oven. I'm thankful for a great job that allows us to live comfortably as we're getting older. I'm thankful for all my great friends that are always there when I need them both close to me here in Texas and spread out all across the country. I'm thankful for my companions, my dogs, they are so loyal and fun to spend time with. I'm thankful for so many things that I can't name them all. I pray that all of you who read this are blessed with the things that you need. I might not have all the things I want but I feel pretty blessed to have all the things I need. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and if I don't talk to you beforehand have a Merry Christmas. John (New Braunfels, TX)
